Your Personal Data
Email addresses from emails sent to us or provided by our customers at the time of placing an order are retained by us. We may process your personal information for our legitimate business interests. Primarily, your data is used for the purposes of confirming a customer’s order or status of such orders or in response to any enquiries received from the sender, sending marketing information via post, email or phone and assessing shopping habits. We do not share this information.

We retain information provided by members of the Bees Privilege Club, visitors to our site and transaction information such as customers’ purchases, amounts and types of products purchased and other information relevant to such purchases. All purchasers will be automatically registered as member(s) of Bees (but not necessarily the Bees Privilege Club, unless they have specifically registered for that). Any members of Bees Privilege Club may deregister or correct any inaccuracy at any time by quoting their unique membership number and emailing email@example.com
Visitors to the site who give us their telephone numbers online will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed online or an inquiry / contact us form submitted.
All members of Bees Privilege Club will receive information by the method elected on membership registration form and will be automatically included in any promotions, competitions and receive our special seasonal gifts. In addition, members will also be able to register their specific requests for reminder to be sent to them, by email, of any special event such as birthday; anniversary or festivity and our product information relevant to that event. We retain in all aspects of customer information including email, name, address, year of birth, specifically during the registration process of the Bees Privilege Club, which extends to items that are purchased, date and value. The basis of this data allows us to market certain product and services directly to you as a Privilege Member. In 2018 the Bees Privilege Club loyalty scheme was updated to bring greater benefits to consumers. It is now a points-based programme which allows Members to accumulate rewards in the form of store credit. Membership lifespan is not limited. You're welcome to be a Bees Privilege and general email subscriber for as long as you should wish. You are also within your rights to lodge a complaint to the ICO if you feel that there is a problem with the way we handle your data. We take all matters of customer privacy and security seriously and routinely monitor our internal procedures for data handling. We process personal information for certain legitimate business purposes, which include some or all of the following:

Security & Data Policy
Bees stores data required to manage and run customer accounts.
We use industry-standard encryption technologies to ensure the security of customer data when transferring and receiving customer data exchanged with our site server. All other data transfer is conducted through a secure phone line. We are currently taking the necessary measures to become GDPR compliant. All customers will be emailed when our Terms and Policies have been updated by 25 May 2018.
Our website is secured using SSL provided by Squarespace - however, no data is held with Squarespace.
We have detailed our procedure for data collecting, how we store it, and why we use it. All existing subscribers who signed up to receive general marketing emails and those who signed up via the Bees Privilege Club have agreed to Bees sending communication via email, post and phone, in addition to agreeing to our Terms. If you wish for us to change the way we handle your data, you can email us on email@example.com and amend your preferences.
We would only disclose your information if required by law, court order or in circumstances where it is judged to be in good faith belief that disclosure is otherwise advisable.
